Last Thursday Fredrik Härén, author and publisher of the ideabook gave an inspiring talk at our new shared space in Kreuzberg. In front of ~40 participants he explained in a quite amusing way how he made his book a global success and sold over 250.000 copies of it. Starting from the creation of the idea itself, to the design, ending with extraordinary ways of distribution.
A part of his presentation that really resonated with me was his “idea-formula”: Idea = People (Knowledge + Information).
That´s why the “western world” is probably well advised to look to China and India regarding the future of innovation.
